All I've ever wanted to achieve in life, is to find a lipstick that stays on, not come off the one time I have something to drink. So with that I really wanted to try the Kylie Lip Kit's but of course I wasn't quick enough to get them. Before I bought the Liquid Suede by NYX, I'd heard of the brand but actually didn't think it was available in the UK, so when I saw it in my local Boots I just needed to pick something up, that being the Liquid Suede Liquid Lipstick in the colour Sandstorm.
Liquid Suede was the first product I saw and was the first product I could actually get to because the stand was so full, in the collection there is such a variety of colours from pinks, to reds and even a bright purple and black. I decided to pick up a colour that I was most likely to wear which was the brown colour, Sandstorm.
On first impressions, I liked how creamy it was but I felt the wand was ridiculously long and was hard to use, however with practise and wearing it nearly daily I've actually found that the wand it so easy to use and it helps to get such a precise line around the lips.
Now by using this I have found that you have to let it dry before you leave the house or go into public because it will be on your teeth! Unless that's just me haha. But I have to leave it to dry for a few minutes before I go out just so that it can dry and for me to be able to wipe it off my teeth.
One downside to this product is if you want a completely matte look, then this isn't for you. It dries semi matte, which I really like just because your lips look healthy and not all caked in lipstick and this product doesn't dry your lips out like other matte lip products can do.
