Garage Shoes - Buy one get one for £1

Going from working full time whilst at college with no bills to pay to being at university working just weekends and having rent and food to pay for, is a hugeeeeee change and lets be honest, at first it was  so hard and to be fair it still is. So when it comes to anything other than food shopping I have to actually think if I need it. This where Garage shoes comes into the equation.

Victoria's Secret Haul and Gift

Firstly, please ignore my horrendous carpet in my university halls, I'm gonna start trying to find nicer places to take pictures in my room.
But Victoria's Secret is one of those places that I hardly ever shop at, mainly because it's out of town and at The Trafford Centre and also because it is very expensive, well for my student budget it is. Well my Peter Andre loving friend, dragged me to The Trafford Centre to watch him turn the christmas lights on, by the way, he touched her face and asked if she was ok, lets be honest she was the happiest girl ever afterwards haha. But anyway, I went in just looking for some of the body mists because I was running out of the Body Shop one i've been using and I know that Victoria's Secret body mists are super strong so they're last me for ever.

The Last Holiday Haul

Going on holiday is probably one of the most expensive leisure activities, not only actually paying for the holiday but the shopping is the worst part. This year I think I've spent more on items for my holiday than I have on the actual holiday. Hi, I'm Paige and I'm stressed because I'm no way a light packer. I have a mentality that I can't wear the same thing twice in the same month never mind in the same week , so I spend a horrific amount of money on clothes anyway, so for my holiday I start to purchase clothes as soon as they started to come into shops. Through out this process I have bought and returned so many items it's actually ridiculous. After sorting all my outfits out, I've made sure i've got a new bikini for everyday but I had 1 and a half less outfits than I actually needed.

Superdrug Haul #1

As it was payday and I hadn't been make up shopping for a while, I'd treat myself but I was a good girl and only bought what I actually needed and not what I wanted. Happy bank balance. So the first thing I picked up was my favourite ever concealer, its by far the number 1 concealer for me. I picked up the concealer by Collection 2000 in the colour medium, I love how it's one of the only concealers that will cover my dark circles under my eyes and also when I get a blemish it is amazing at covering them. How many times did I say concealer then, gawdddd.

The next thing I purchased from Superdrug was a lip liner/lip definer from Collection 2000 too, I prefer this kind of lip liner instead of the traditional pencil ones as I feel they go on so much smoother. This is in the colour Cappuccino, at the moment i'm really into the whole 90's brown lip liner look and it's amazing at recreating a "Kylie Jenner" lip without the expensive surgery. There might be a sneaky little blog post on my Kylie Jenner lip coming soon.

As I had spent over a certain amount I was able to get one of the new Limited Edition Mardi Gras Lip Balm's for free, they have 3 different scents/flavours; orange, green apple and strawberry. I chose the orange flavour and i'm loving trying it out at the moment. I think i'm going to take this one on holiday with me and see how it goes.

The last thing I purchased was my usual foundation, I've tried loads of different high street brands and for myself, I feel that Revlon Colour Stay is my favourite. The only downside to this foundation is the bottle and there always some left in it that you can next get out, I need to see if I can purchase a pump for it. I decided to buy a darker shade that my usual colour, as I have been tanning before I go away my old one had gone slightly pale but i'm hoping this colour will last after my holiday.

Skater shoes? Really?

For me skater shoes are a thing of the past, I can remember wear all these brightly coloured varities in diffefernt patterns when I was in high school (most likely around year 8, so around 8 years ago, gup!) But I saw some beauties on Zara (linked here) they're a pale blue faux snake skin skater shoe and I fell in love!

I was then window shopping around my local Topshop and saw these! In my store they came in white, black and pale pink faux snake skin but online there is also a pale blue faux snake skin and also lots of other patterns. (Here's your link!) Now I thought Zara have the same for around £50 so i'm guessing Topshop were going to be the same, well no, these beauts are only £20 each! Meaning that I needed to buy all the colours, right? Well due to my spending ban, I went and purchased just the white and the black.

Black Faux Snake Skin

White Faux Snake Skin

The black version have a black trim and a black elastic but they have a white sole, while on the white version the material is a creamy pearly colour with a matching trim, a white sole and white elastic.

Then here are some lovely images of them being worn with my new tartan trousers.

For sizing, I can either be a 4 or a 5 due to my feet being an awkward size of 4.5 so I bought the size 5 because they are slightly tight on the sides of the feet.

Let me know what you think of the whole skater shoe come back and if you would purchase these.

Nails Inc Top Ten Collection

If any of you follow me on Instagram (which you can do here) you will notice that I love getting my nails done and also nail varnish in general. I regularly get acrylic nails due to the fact that my nails don't grow well and I am still a bitter, I'm getting better at stopping the bitting! PROMISE! Even though I do go to get my nails proffesionally painted, I always take my own nail polish because I do own quite a few.

My weakness is Nails Inc nail polish, the consistency, life length and colour range is extraordinary. Also the glitter and special effects nail polishes are the best ones I have ever used, they have amazing coverage compared to the usual glitter nail polishes. I recently counted the amount of Nails Inc polishes that I own and I very quickly reached the 50 mark, it was even closer to the 60 mark, I can't help myself guys. So obviously I need more, so I purchased this set from QVC.com, this set is the Top Ten Collection and the main reason I bought this collection was for the colour Baker Street, which is the bright cobalt blue. I still haven't found a colour that even lives up to this cobalt one.

This collection is packaged absolutly beautifully. I received my order in this silver glitter box that screams my name, my hoarding side comes out when I see boxes like this. This collection includes these colours (from left to right) Baker Street, Queen Victoria Street, The Boltons, Crown Court, Porchester Square, Chelsea Passage, South Kensington, The Thames, Chelsea Square and Bruton Street.

Is there any other Nails Inc colours I should purchase or any other nails varnish brands that you think I would enjoy?

Everyone loves a bit of Pleather!

Well Primark have well and truly hit the high notes once again. After seeing these PU mini skirts in their S/S14 promotion images, I have been patiently, well not that patient, waiting for these to arrive in my local store and of course because I wanted them they haven't arrived yet but when I went to Manchester they had these beauties lined up just for me. Now I went to Manchester for a university open day but I some how ended up in Primark and was spending £69, opps.

These skirts aren't for the faint hearted they are quite short but if you purchased a smaller size then you could wear it lower down and they have a split on the back just for the whole walking issue. These are the only 2 colours that are available, a peachy nude and a minty blue/green and I'm so hoping some more get bought out, also not only have Primark hit the nail on the head with the design but the material is such good quality, it's wipeable aswell which is always a good thing if you're wearing it out and someone knocks a drink down you, it can't just be me who it happens too?Another plus is that these could be easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

I know what you're all thinking, how much are these? Well for £10 each, yes only £10, it might seem a bit steep for a skirt from Primark but they really look and feel like they should have been around £30/£40.

Let me know what you think about these skirts and if you've purchased these yourself.
