Outfit of the day : Spring florals!

As spring has finally returned and the weather is sort of getting better, it means that it's time to crack out the spring / summer clothes. As with spring or even summer in the UK, it can be all different weather in one day, so it can actually be hard to dress for the appropriate weather, no one wants to me freezing or be sweating.

This shirt is from Matalan, yes Matalan, I got it for £10 but now it is off the promotion and is at the normal price of £14 which is still a bargain! I like how the shirt isn't a thick material, meaning it's perfect for spring but it's thick enough to not be able able to see through it, so no extra layers of a vest top need to be worn. The shirt's pattern is small black flowers and black dots and I feel like it gives the shirt a real vintage grandad feel.

Seeing as the nice weather is slowly but surely returning I decided to pair this skirt with my black "snake skin" asyemtical skirt from Topshop, some black tights and my black jelly shoes from Primark. I then added my harness necklace but kept it loose, my dainty "love" necklace, a gold bangle and my rose gold watch.

I enjoy wearing jelly shoes with tights as I feel they give a more summery look than actual black shoes.
