Starting a new academic year means that I can purchase the things I looovveeeee, stationary!! I'm one of them people that gets joy out of buying a brand new notepad and pens, so when I found out I had achieved my place at university, stationary was the first thing I started to buy.

The first items I purchased were notepads and binders (not pictured), I first bought several different colourered binders for each of my modules, I used this method in college and found it was more effective for my learning than just putting it all into one large folder with dividers. I then bought a A5 notepad to create notes in my lectures, I really like the A5 size as it fits easily on the small 'desks'. I then bought some refil pads to transfer my notes onto A4 size and to place into my binders.

The next thing I purchased was a diary, I feel a diary is one of the most important things you can buy whether your at school, work, college or university. As I work different hours and have different schedules I like to put them all in one place so I can easily see what I have going on that day or week. My favourite types of diaries are the one that are day per page, I feel that I can easily write any lectures, nights out, work hours or assignments briefs in full.

Coloured pens and highlighters make me so excited, I love to buy different types and a million different colours and shades. I like to use them to rewrite my notes and to put specific information or important information in contrasting colour so that it stands out. I also like to use different colours in my diary to show which work is for what class or if it's the hours I have to work.
