Coral - Primark (£4), Black - Primark (£4), Mint - JuJu Jellies (£20) |
For around a year and a half now, jelly shoes have been widely available in retail stores, high end and high street. If you were like me, jelly shoes were a summer wardrobe stable in the 90's primary school days, so when the 90's revival of jelly shoes and scrunchies occurred, I jumped at the chance.
At the moment, I have 3 pairs of jelly shoes, I need more pairs though, they are so addictive, last year I only wore them in the summer and on holiday until now. I've recently been wearing my black pair of jelly shoes in winter with some tights. Obviously don't wear them when its too cold, unless you can hack the bitter cold. I like how the jelly shoes give a different look, than the bog standard black boots or black ballet pumps that I usually wear, also as the weather gets nicer you can use the jelly shoes as a transition item, pair them with jeans or with a skirt and sock.
Are there any other trends that you guys love?
